Let me welcome to Wielkopolskie Province all guests of the Ale Kino! Festival and invite them to take part in this fascinating journey into the world of cinema. We are about to meet over a hundred films that deal with young people and their problems, appeal to their imagination, their sensitivity and their world views. It is an intriguing meeting that will make it possible for younger and a little older viewers to become acquainted with the latest works of cinematic art coming from different cultures.
I am glad that, with its 40-year-old history, Ale Kino! Festival has found home in our province. It is nice to see this international film event broadening its programme year after year, attracting new participants and waking their passion for the cinema. What is especially valuable is that the festival, by presenting carefully selected, often outstanding works, characterised by great impact on cinemagoers, allows them to experience both the magic of the cinema and the emotions associated with taking part in a film marathon.
For a strong start, I wish all cinemagoers a festival that, like all those that came before, turns out to be a rewarding adventure and an unforgettable experience. Welcome to the cinema!
