Monika Górska
Monika Górska is a director, screenwriter for Polish Television Poznań and academic teacher. Driven by her incurable passion, she has been engaged for 20 years in making documentaries, reportage, theatre and concert broadcasts for all Polish Television channels and other European TV stations, such as RTBF, RTL5 or LTV. She authored a PhD dissertation titled Television documentary as the art of storytelling and created documentary workshops eyeTUBE.pl, where she is a coach. Her work includes nearly 100 documentaries, which received a number of accolades in Europe and the US, e.g. My Baby is an Angel (Berlin, Prix Europa 2006 nomination, Grand Prix Circom 2006, New York Festival 2007 finalist), On the Edges (Gold Remi Award, WorldFest Houston 2004), Współwinny (1st prize, Happy End Festival, Jelenia Góra 2003), Uwolnić motyla (1st prize MKFFiM, Niepokalanów 1992).
