Alexey Alexeev
Born in Moscow in 1965. He studied animation in the famous Pilot animation studio (Moscow), where he later worked as an animator and director. In 1993 he graduated from the Moscow's VGIK film school as a film director. From 1996 until 2003 he worked at Varga Studio in Budapest on many TV series, including Mr. Bean animated episodes where he was a series director. Since 2004 he has been a creative director of Studio Baestarts in Budapest. He also works as a director, designer, scriptwriter, composer and editor. His animated shorts have won more than 60 prizes at festivals around the world. He was nominated for BAFTA 2010 (UK). His filmography includes: Log Jam, KJFG No. 5, HUHU - Pole Hole, Mondokak, Pro Vorona, Aliens, King's Moon.
