Monday, 6 December saw the start of the 28th International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino!
The event opened with the Norwegian film "Rafiki" (at 10.00 am in the Multikino 51 cinema). A guest at the screening was the film's director, Christian Lo, and an actress in the role of nine-year-old Julie, Live Marie Runde.

After the official opening, a conference was held to introduce the festival guests.

On Monday at the Multikino 51 cinema one more competition film was also screened. It was "I am Kalam". On the same day at 7.30 pm older cinemagoers had a chance to watch the first films screened at the Multikino Stary Browar cinema: "The Strength of Water" (New Zealand, Germany 2009), "Samson and Delilah" (Australia 2009), "Vegas" (Norway 2009) and "Portraits in a Sea of Lies" (Colombia 2010).
