Ale Kino! on Tour!

Ale Kino! on Tour is a “suitcase" version of the Ale Kino! International Young Audience Film Festival in Poznań. It will present the most interesting films of the previous year's festival repertoire, which will be competing for the award of the local children's audience. The event will be a great chance to meet a film star, to see the cinema industry from the camera's point of view, and to attend a special gala for both children and artists.

Ale Kino! on Tour is a film festival for children and young people who want good cinema and who have the right to get it. Because of where they live, they are excluded from participation in large-scale events and cannot watch films which are screened at festivals but seldom appear in commercial cinemas or on TV.

Ale Kino! on Tour means not only film shows but also plenty of other attractions. During a two- or three-day stay in each of the visited towns: we will arrange meetings with filmmakers, carry out animation workshops, organise competitions and opinion polls, choose members of a children's jury with its own award for the best film, arrange fringe events, teach the basics of film knowledge, show cinematography from the inside, advise teachers how to use films in school education and, finally, we will leave behind our passion for film, our enthusiasm and appetite for more!
